WHO WE ARE AND WHAT WE BELIEVE

We love God and are grateful for how He has transformed our lives. Our desire is to share His goodness with others, helping them see who He is and how wonderful He is. We seek fellowship with those who love Him and long for those who do not yet know Him to come to trust in Jesus Christ for salvation. We cherish being together, sharing life, and encouraging one another in faith.

Below is what believe.

  1. The Scriptures
We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired by God, without error in their original writings, and serve as the supreme and final authority for faith and life.

  2. God
We believe in one God, the Creator and Sustainer of the universe, who exists eternally in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. God is spirit, infinite, eternal, and incomparable in all His attributes. He is unchangeable in His being, wisdom, power, holiness, justice, goodness, and truth.

  3. Jesus Christ
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ—His virgin birth, sinless life, sacrificial death as payment for the sins of all people, bodily resurrection, exaltation at the right hand of God, and personal, imminent return.

  4. Humanity and Sin
We believe that all have sinned, are guilty before God, and are under His just condemnation.

  5. Salvation
We believe that all who, by faith, repent and trust in Jesus Christ are born again by the Holy Spirit, becoming children of God and eternally saved. The Holy Spirit indwells every believer, guiding, enlightening, and empowering them for life, testimony, and service.

  6. Spiritual Gifts
We believe that God grants spiritual gifts to all believers for the building up of the body of Christ.

  7. Resurrection and Eternal Destiny
We believe in the bodily resurrection of both the just and the unjust: the saved to everlasting blessedness in glory, and the lost to everlasting, conscious punishment in hell.

  8. Christian Living
We believe that all believers are called to live lives of holiness, separating themselves from worldly and sinful practices and alliances.

  9. Marriage and Sexuality
We believe that from the beginning, God ordained marriage as a sacred union between one man and one woman. Any sexual activity outside of this biblical definition of marriage, including homosexual practices, contradicts God’s Word and His design for the family.

  10. The Great Commission
We believe in the Great Commission: to proclaim the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth.

  11. The Church
We believe that the Church began with the descent of the Holy Spirit at Pentecost and consists of all true believers in Jesus Christ. These believers are united to Him and to one another by the indwelling Spirit. The Church’s calling, hope, and destiny are heavenly, and its primary purpose is to glorify God and bear witness to Christ until His return.

  12. Ordinances
We believe in two Christian ordinances: baptism and the Lord’s Supper.

  • Baptism signifies the believer’s identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection, symbolizing newness of life.

  • The Lord’s Supper is a memorial feast, instituted by Christ Himself, observed exclusively by His followers in remembrance of His sacrifice.

  1. Church Leadership
We believe that biblical church leadership follows a model of plurality, where a board of elders, consisting of men raised up by God from within the congregation, governs the local church. These elders serve as under-shepherds, directly accountable to the Great Shepherd, Jesus Christ, for their stewardship of the church.
